Treasury

This place is great! Definitely makes my top five for boutiques for vintage in DC. This place might be a little more modern than Mercedes Bien, but less of a selection.

But a very carefully picked selection, that's for sure. Bought a skirt here, but wanted much more. Lots of original pieces, including hats, purses, jewelry, and sometimes shoes.

Different people/stores define "vintage" in different ways, but I generally go by the pre-1990 definition. If this is your guideline base, certainly not everything in the store is vintage...some resale stuff, but their emphasis is more based on design than a timeline. I talked to one of the owners who said they buy some newer stuff if the piece has good design elements.

A special attention to craft can hardly be faulted.

Some more expensive items, some on the lower end (my skirt was $34). But this is another store where I don't think I would come out empty handed.

The owners are originally from DC and have a great eye for style. I like the blog on their website for style ideas too.

They are having their Fall Collection Party there tomorrow (Saturday, September 19th) from 2-6 pm with refreshments and DJs. Go check it out!

Also on Saturday, the 19th...Immortal Beloved Launch Party 8:00 pm-?

Lots to do this weekend!
